Native Plant Garden Tour, Greenbelt, 30 August, 9AM

 
 
 

Join us on Sunday, 30 August 2026, for Greenbelt, Maryland’s first (2-part) Native Plant Garden Walking Tour.

  • Part 1, Boxwood Village, 9AM: Meet at the playground at the intersection of Lastner and Ivy (near Crescent).

  • Part 2, North GHI, 10:30 AM: Meet across the street from Greenbelt Elementary School.

Hosts Tanja Owe and Catherine Plaisant will lead the groups through about 10 private gardens and public plantings. Meet your fellow native plant enthusiasts as they share their work with us. Highlights include pawpaw trees bearing fruit and a water feature containing a thriving population of freshwater clams that birds introduced!
